Day 01 Flight from kathmandu to Paro
Arrive at Paro by Druk Air flight. Reception will be arranged for you on arrival. Lunch. Stroll through Paro town in the evening.

Day 02 Paro Valley Sightseeing
After breakfast drive to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong (the Fortress where Drukpas won over joint Tibetan-Mongol Invasions in 1700s). Along the way, one can view the sacred Mount Jhomolhari (7,314m) – The abode of the Goddess Jhomo. Drive back to Satsam Chorten and then hike up to view the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) built on the face of a 1000 m rock cliff. End the day by visiting typical farmhouse to experience the daily life of Bhutanese people.
Night Halt: Paro.
Day 03 Paro Taktsang. Afternoon drive to Thimphu
Full day excursion to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) monastery. Evening drive to Thimphu.

Day 04 Sightseeing in Thimphu
Thimphu valley sightseeing for full day which includes: Memorial Chorten (Stupa), Bhutan Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, School of Fine Arts, Institute of Traditional Medicine, Tashicho-dzong (the seat of the Royal Government), Zilukha Nunnery, Traditional Handmade Paper Factory and Handicrafts Emporium.
Night halt: Thimphu.
Day 05 Thimphu - Punakha
Proceed to Punakha with sightseeing at Dochula pass (3,050 m)(Stunning scenery of the Himalayan Peaks). Afternoon - visit Punakha Dzong & stroll through countryside.
Night halt: Punakha.
Day 06 Punakha to Wangdue. Afternoon drive to Trongsa
Morning visit Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Then proceed to Chendibji Chorten (Nepalese style Buddhist stupa) on the way. Lunch at Trongsa. Afternoon view Tronsa dzong from outside learning its history and visit Ta Dzong (Watch Tower). Evening free or take a stroll through Trongsa town.
Night halt: Hotel in Trongsa
Day 07 Tongsa - Bumthang
After breakfast, proceed to Bumthang across Yotong La pass (3,400 m). Visit the various monasteries in the valley: Jakar Dzong, Jambay Lhakhang (8th Century) , Kurje Monastery (8th Century) and Tamshing Lhakhang (15th Century).
Night halt: Hotel in Bumthang
Day 08 Bumthang - Mongar
Early morning drive to Mongar across Thrumsengla pass (3,800 m). The mountains of eastern Bhutan can be seen in clear weather.
Evening visit Mongar Dzong and stroll the Eastern Bhutan Countryside.
Night halt: Mongar.
Day 09 Mongar to Trashigang and back to Mongar
On the way visit Gomphu Kora Monastery. Visit Trashigang Dzong and town. Proceed for Mongar.
Night halt: Mongar.
Day 10 Mongar - Bumthang
Return journey.
Night halt: Trongsa.
Day 11 Rest Day in Bumthang
Take a stroll in the beautiful Bumthang valley. Or visit one of those ancient temples that dot the countryside. It's a rest day after many days of driving around!!
Day 12 Bumthang – Gangtey/Gogona
After breakfast, drive early to Gangtey. Visit Gangtey Monastery.
For a closer view of the country, we are going to trek through three beautiful wilderness valleys at the heart of the country. After lunch trek from Phobjikha valley into Gogona Valley via Tsela Pass.
Night halt: Camp in Gogona Valley.
Day 13 Gogona to Khotokha
After breakfast, gradually climb to Shobe La Pass (3800m). Then descend into Khotokha valley.
Night halt: Camp at Khotokha valley.
Day 14 Khotokha to Punakha
After breakfast, climb Tashila Pass. From there it is all down hill to Chuzomsa where our transport would pick you up. You would be in a hotel in Punakha for the night.

Day 15 Punakha to Paro via Thimphu
After breakfast, head to Thimphu. Do some souvenir shopping or visit the Vegetable market (if you previously missed). In the afternoon, head for Paro. Late Afternoon free to stroll through town.

Flight from Kathmandu to Paro Personal nature expenses and unforeseen events Airport Tax Travel Insurance Bhutan visa fee which is US$ 20 per person. Please note no foreign office abroad grants. Bhutanese visa. It has to be obtained through us. We need at least 5 working days to obtain visa for you.
